About our Club

One dozen and …seven years ago, our members were brought forth on a upon a most excellent adventure conceived by their friends, Steve… and Steve. These two great gentlemen are dedicated to a proposition which was true then, just as it’s true today. Help people who love roleplaying games club together to play the games that they love with people that they like. And… PARTY ON, DUDES!

How we got here

The Knights of Trinity was founded in 2000 by Steve Ironside & Stephen Thomson (The “Steves”). It has run run continuously ever since, except for the Christmas and New Year fortnight each year. Over 150 members through the years have enjoyed the opportunity to play the RPGs that they have grown up with, as well as the newest games arriving on the scene.

How we do things

Our club year is broken into seven blocks, of alternating 8 and 6 week lengths. The 8 week blocks are used for stand-alone “Features”, and we aim where possible to string the 6 week blocks together into a linked “Campaign”, for 18 weeks of play in total.

For each block, a number of games will be offered – each with its own Gamesmaster. We’re currently running 13 tables per block.

Members can sign up to play at the table of their choice – places are limited, as we generally only allow a maximum of 6 players per table (any more than that and we find that the game’s not as satisfying!). And don’t worry if you happen to be a shift worker and can’t make some of the weeks in the block – as long as the GM is aware of that, then he or she can work around it!

That’s all there is to it!
